Brian Jacques "B. J."

A Realtor since 1979, has always been a consistent top producer. BJ works the Midland Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay Township area of Huronia and has established an impressive repeat client base over the years. His low-keyed personality and attention to detail have created a loyal following of satisfied buyers and sellers.

A large part of his business is derived through his referral network of past and present clientele who are always happy to pass BJ’s name on to friends and family. BJ has three children, 2 daughters and a son. Mike, the eldest, is a graduate of the University of Toronto and now working as a high school teacher, while Leigh-Anne has become a competent aesthetician and Heather is currently attending University and completing her degree.

BJ is a life long resident of the area with extensive background knowledge, and is a great promoter of the Georgian Bay area. His clients always comment on his easy going manner and his no pressure salesmanship. His philosophy is that of win-win negotiating. He believes in building clients for life, and has had the pleasure of working for generations of the same family.

Joan Therrien

In February, 2007, Joan Therrien successfully completed the real estate license course and joined Brian Jacques as his full time licensed real estate partner. Joan is a local resident, born and raised in Penetanguishene and now lives in Midland with Brian and her daughter Laura, who is currently attending college. Joan has entered the real estate profession with over 25 years experience in three of the areas highly respected law firms in Penetanguishene and Midland, as a real estate legal assistant. Her many years with the law firms will be invaluable to her new career in the listing and selling of real estate. Joan’s past experience include title conveyancing, document preparation and meeting with clients. Most recently, she worked on condominium projects locally, such as Tiffin by the Bay, as well as high rise projects in Toronto.   In 2005 she was instrumental in closing over 50 condominium transactions in one month.  Joan’s work ethic, varied experience and her friendly personality will be a great addition to BJ’s and Joan’s real estate business in the years to come.
